EXOTIC BET CALCULATOR HELP
The Exotic Bet Calculator (EBC) creates a BATCH file, ready for submission to NSW or Victorian TABs. It will produce these files for Quinella, Trifecta, Exacta and First Four combinations. Batch files can contain a combination of bet types for:
  • This Race
  • This Process
  • This Meeting
  1. Press the RESET button to clear out all previous calculations including betting files that have been generated.
  2. Select the TYPE from (R)ace, (H)arness or (G)reyhound
  3. Select the VENUE. This is based on the same track location codes used by the TAB.
  4. Select the RACE number
  5. Select Quinella, Trifecta, Exacta or 1st Four
  6. Determine how much you want to bet on a race. To reset this field back to zero, click the mouse on it.
  7. Enter your market prices in the MARKET column, pressing ENTER will register as a (SCR)atching
  8. There are four columns marked 1,2,3 and 4 that represent each leg of any bet types available.
  9. Click the mouse in a green square to make it a selection. A field bet is made by clicking on the number at the top of each column.
  10. Repeat this procedure for all the combinations you desire.
  11. When you have finished all your selections, press the PROCESS button. This will display your bet combinations in the right hand window including the bet amount for each combination based on your market figures. Exotic Bet Calculator will always attempt to stay within the bet amount selected, but due to fractions it may bet slightly under or over the total amount.
  12. Press the SAVE button - you will be presented with 3 options;
    • This Race
    • This Process
    • This Meeting
    allowing you to determine how you want to store the bets. Remember that the TAB limits the number of bets in any one file to 400.
If you need to make a change to one of your market prices, simply make the change and press PROCESS again. Remember to press SAVE if you want to overwrite the file already generated.

  • Notebook Button
    Press this button to view the contents of the file that is ready for submission to the TAB.
  • Printer Button
    Prints out the whole screen for your reference.
  • Lock Button
    This button locks in the percentage displayed so that if you change a market price, all OTHER prices are adjusted to remain at the locked in percentage.
  • Bet Amount Field
    Can be reset to zero with a click of the mouse in the Outlay square. You can then select a new bet amount.
Annual Renewal
As EBC is only available through prepayment of an annual subscription. One month prior to the anniversary, an email will be sent requesting the next annual payment. If this payment is not received in time, the EBC will become inactive until such time as payment is received.

Security.
Each copy of EBC is registered to the hard disk drive that it is installed on. A unique registration key is provided with each copy of the program.
