INTELLIGENT PUNTER’S CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

To participate in the Intelligent Punter’s Club you will need to invest a minimum of $500. This will be spread between a betting fund, a quadrella fund and a laying fund. The split between the funds will be at the discretion of the Intelligent Punter and will depend upon the total amount of funds.

Each dollar invested before the 11^th October 2007 will be treated as 1 unit. After each betting day there will be an updated value of each unit. Betting from the Intelligent Punter’s Plus Club is due to start on 13^th October 2007. Anybody wishing to deposit money into the Intelligent Punter’s Plus fund after the starting date will receive the amount of units their money will buy at the updated unit value (rounded down to the nearest unit). The Intelligent Punter will take no fee from your initial deposit. The Intelligent Punter will take 20% of the profits only when you withdraw any amounts from the fund. If you make no profit, the Intelligent Punter will make no income.

Withdrawal of capital and or profits can only be made quarterly. The dates for this racing season will be 31^st March 2008 and 31^st June 2008. These dates are subject to change depending on whether these dates coincide with race meetings that are subject to selections. To make a withdrawal you will actually withdraw a number of units. (For example if you deposit $500 initially then you will have 500 units. If each unit has grown to $1.40 then your $500 has turned into $700. If you want to withdraw $200 then you will withdraw 143 units which is roughly equal to $200. For this $200 or 143 units, the profit is roughly $57 and 20% commission will be taken from this $57. This will leave you with a balance of 357 units.)

The bets will be placed on all Premium Selections although there may be extra bets if price allows (for example if the Intelligent Punter considers a race to be between two horses but has not made them Gold selections because he thought price would be inadequate but at race time, the prices allow both horses to be bet. Alternatively a Premium Selection may not be backed or the bet amount reduced if conditions change throughout the day and the bet becomes less favourable). The Intelligent Lays will not be known before the event. This is because there are many horses that qualify as possible lays but price plays a significant part. A horse must be at less than $10 to become a lay and there must be adequate liquidity in the market to lay the horse at the right price and for the right amount. This is crucial in the success of a laying plan and as such it is near impossible to give an accurate guide to all lays before an Australian race as the market only starts to form around 20 minutes before start time.

After each betting and laying day a full list of bets/lays will be sent to each member of the Intelligent Punters Plus Club.
